BIO

The music of Tommy C is born from a life time of  dedication to the art of music, music education, and 15 years of relentless touring, while being lucky enough to play with many of the top names in the music industry that he grew up admiring along the way.

Tommy C got his start in the music industry during the 80′s “Hair Band” craze that swept him away onto a surrealistic journey of an “on the road ” lifestyle that some can only fathom through dreams, movies, or the pages of a  pulp rock n roll novel found on the bottom shelve of a local book store.

Back in the year 2000 Tommy C decided to take a break from the rock n roll music scene to re-charge, re-coupe, re-invent, to put on a few pounds, and just maybe to save his own life. During his semi – retirement phase Tommy C, (minus the lions mane of hair) has been capturing his experiences in song by writing and recording in his home based Pro Tools recording studio.

Tommy C has always had an affinity for aggressive guitar rock n roll and reggae music. An unlikely pair that Tommy C has held on to as an inner vision that blending these two vastly different genres could produce something new, meaningful, and fun to listen to.

Since reemergence from semi-retirement Tommy C has been working with Caribbean based reggae artists introducing aggressive rock guitar style to the island countries while soaking up every fundamental and nuance of the music and its people from the West Indies and the relationships he has established there.

Tommy C’s music brings together reggae and rock n roll in a new way that appeals to a wide variety of people and age groups, yet resides outside of the mainstream of template driven commercial pop music.

Lets take the time to chill out, listen, and feel the music that Tommy C creates as philosophical poetry with a beat, and enjoy the kick ass guitar playing that binds it all together.

Tommy C now resides in Furlong, Bucks County PA and operates his home based ProTools recording studio working on a solo CD project while keeping an open eye and ear out for fellow musicians to colaborate with and for new places to play out.
